ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 1. The Council considered the question of the full participation of the European Community in the Commission on Sustainable Development at its resumed substantive session (agenda item 7).

3. At the 53rd meeting, the representative of Germany introduced a draft decision (E/1994/L.51) entitled " Full participation of the European Community in the Commission on Sustainable Development " , which read as follows:

At its 11th meeting, on 26 May 1993, the Council decided to accredit to the Commission on Sustainable Development those non-governmental organizations listed in the note by the Secretariat on the representation of and consultations with non-governmental organizations.

In Burkina Faso, UNEP assisted in drafting implementation texts on forest code; legal texts on classified installations and taxes relating to polluting activities and a report on the role and attributions of the committee of the Commission on Sustainable Development in charge of environmental legislation.
وفي بوركينا فاصو، قدم اليونيب مساعدته في وضع نصوص التنفيذ عن مدونة الغابات، والنصوص القانونية عن المنشئات المصنفة والضرائب ذات الصلة بالأنشطة المسببة للتلوث وتقرير عن دور وخصائص اللجنة المسؤولة عن التشريعات البيئية في اللجنة المعنية بالتنمية المستدامة.
