20. The Committee encourages the State party to enact specific legislation for the adoption of temporary special measures in accordance with article 4, paragraph 1, of the Convention and the Committee's general recommendation No. 25 in order to accelerate the realization of women's de facto equality with men in areas where women are underrepresented or in disadvantaged situations.

14. The Committee welcomes the measures taken to promote women's political participation. It is concerned, however, that no other temporary special measure has been introduced or is being planned as part of a necessary strategy to accelerate the achievement of substantive equality of women with men in areas where women are underrepresented or disadvantaged.
14 - ترحب اللجنة بالتدابير المتخذة لتعزيز المشاركة السياسية للمرأة، بيد أنها تعرب عن القلق إزاء عدم وضع أي تدابير خاصة مؤقتة أخرى أو يجري تخطيطها بوصفها جزءا من استراتيجية ضرورية للتعجيل بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية بين المرأة والرجل في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة غير ممثَّـلة بالقدر الكافي أو محرومة.

(a) Further strengthen its efforts to put in place a comprehensive policy with pro-active and sustained measures, targeted at women and men, girls and boys, to overcome stereotypical attitudes about the roles and responsibilities of women and men in the family and in society, in particular in areas where women are in the most disadvantaged position;
(أ) زيادة تكثيف جهودها لوضع سياسة شاملة تتضمن تدابير نشطة ومستدامة، تستهدف النساء والرجال والبنين والبنات، وتتجاوز مواقف تجسد القوالب النمطية بشأن أدوار ومسؤوليات النساء والرجال في الأسرة والمجتمع، ولا سيما في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة في موقع أقل حظوة؛

(c) Implement temporary special measures in areas where women are underrepresented or disadvantaged, including the political sphere, the judiciary and the public sector to accelerate de facto equality of women.
(ج) تطبيق تدابير خاصة مؤقتة في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة ممثلة تمثيلاً ناقصاً أو تعاني من أوضاع غير مؤاتية، بما في ذلك المجالات السياسية والقضائية والقطاع العام وذلك للتعجيل بتحقيق تساوي المرأة الفعلي مع الرجل.

17. Furthermore, CEDAW recommended that Mauritius introduce temporary special measures in areas where women are underrepresented or disadvantaged and raise awareness among parliamentarians and Government officials about the necessity of such measures.
17- وعلاوة على ذلك، أوصت اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة بأن تستحدث موريشيوس تدابير خاصة مؤقتة في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة ممثلة تمثيلاً ناقصاً أو تواجه فيها غبناً وأن تعمل على إذكاء الوعي بين البرلمانيين والمسؤولين الحكوميين بشأن ضرورة تلك التدابير(48).

The Committee recommends that the State party give consideration to the further implementation of temporary special measures, including legislative and administrative measures, outreach and support programmes, the allocation of resources and the creation of incentives, targeted recruitment and the setting of time-bound goals and quotas, in areas where women are underrepresented or disadvantaged and in both the public and private sectors.
وتوصي اللجنة بأن تنظر الدولة الطرف في مواصلة تطبيق التدابير الخاصة المؤقتة، بما فيها التدابير التشريعية والإدارية، وبرامج التوعية والدعم، وتخصيص الموارد، وإيجاد المحفزات، وتعيين الموظفين المحدد الأهداف، ووضع الأهداف والحصص المحكومة زمنيا، وذلك في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة ممثلة تمثيلا ناقصا أو محرومة وفي كل من القطاعين العام والخاص.
