The presentation included an overview of the following options for raising revenues to assist in meeting the costs of adaptation:

An update on the issue of extending the share of proceeds to assist in meeting the costs of adaptation to joint implementation (JI) and emissions trading was introduced with a presentation of a technical paper on this matter.

On the issue of extending the share of proceeds to assist in meeting the costs of adaptation to joint implementation and emissions trading, the SBI noted that further information would facilitate the consideration of this issue.
