٨ - في القرار ١٩٩٣/٩ المتعلق بتحسين مركز المرأة في اﻷمانة العامة، حث المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي اﻷمين العام على أن ينفذ بالكامل برنامج العمل الذي يرمي الى إزالة العقبات التي تعترض تحسين مركز المرأة في اﻷمانة العامة بحلول عام ١٩٩٥، ولاحظ أن الالتزام الواضح من جانب اﻷمين العام هو أمر جوهري لتحقيق اﻷهداف التي وضعتها الجمعية العامة.
