3. Each State Party shall take effective measures to promote within its territory accountability and the scrutiny of its action in the implementation of this Convention.

3 - تشجِّع المصادر المتعددة الأطراف والإقليمية والثنائية للمساعدة المالية والتقنية ولبناء القدرات ونقل التكنولوجيا، بصفة عاجلة، على تعزيز وزيادة أنشطتها بشأن الزئبق دعماً للأطراف من البلدان النامية في تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية فيما يتصل بالموارد المالية والمساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا.

Benin participates actively in the implementation of the Convention.
وتشارك بنن بفعالية في تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية.

(b) To facilitate assistance to Parties, particularly developing country Parties and Parties with economies in transition, on request, in the implementation of this Convention;
(ب) تيسير تقديم المساعدة إلى الأطراف، ولا سيما الأطراف من البلدان النامية والأطراف التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال، في تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية بناء على طلبها؛

According to paragraph 2 (b) of Article 20 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, one of the functions of the Secretariat is " to facilitate assistance to the Parties, particularly developing country Parties and Parties with economies in transition, on request, in the implementation of this Convention " .
