1. This Convention applies to the use of electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract between parties whose places of business are in different States.

" Electronic communication " includes any statement, declaration, demand, notice or request, including an offer and the acceptance of an offer, made by electronic, magnetic, optical or similar means in connection with the formation or performance of a contract.

1. This Convention applies to the use of electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract between parties whose places of business are in different States.
1- تنطبق هذه الاتفاقية على استخدام الخطابات الإلكترونية في سياق تكوين أو أداء عقد بين طرفين يوجد مقرّا عملهما في دولتين مختلفتين.

(a) " Communication " means any statement, declaration, demand, notice or request, including an offer and the acceptance of an offer, that the parties are required to make or choose to make in connection with the formation or performance of a contract;
(أ) يقصد بتعبير " الخطاب " أي بيان أو إعلان أو مطلَب أو إشعار أو طلب، بما في ذلك أي عرض أو قبول عرض، يكون الطرفان مطالبين بتوجيهه أو يختاران توجيهه في سياق تكوين العقد أو أدائه؛

(a) " Communication " means any statement, declaration, demand, notice or request, including an offer and the acceptance of an offer, that the parties are required to make or choose to make in connection with the formation or performance of a contract;

" (a) `Communication'means any statement, declaration, demand, notice or request, including an offer and the acceptance of an offer, that the parties are required to make or choose to make in connection with the formation or performance of a contract;

A location is not a place of business merely because that is: (a) where equipment and technology supporting an information system used by a party in connection with the formation of a contract are located; or (b) where the information system may be accessed by other parties.
" 4- لا يكون المكان مقر عمل لمجرد أنه: (أ) توجد فيه المعدات والتكنولوجيا الداعمة لنظام المعلومات الذي يستخدمه الطرف في سياق تكوين العقد؛ أو (ب) يمكن فيه لأطراف أخرى أن تصل إلى نظام المعلومات المعني.

" 1. The provisions of this Convention apply to the use of electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract or agreement to which any of the following international conventions, to which a Contracting State to this Convention is or may become a Contracting State, apply:
" 1- تنطبق أحكام هذه الاتفاقية على استخدام الخطابات الإلكترونية في سياق تكوين أو أداء عقد أو اتفاق ينطبق عليه أي من الاتفاقيات الدولية التالية، التي تكون الدولة المتعاقدة في هذه الاتفاقية، أو قد تصبح، دولة متعاقدة فيها:

(a) " Communication " means any statement, declaration, demand, notice or request, including an offer and the acceptance of an offer, that the parties are required to make or choose to make in connection with the formation or performance of a contract;

1. The provisions of this Convention apply to the use of electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract to which any of the following international conventions, to which a Contracting State to this Convention is or may become a Contracting State, apply:
1 - تنطبق أحكام هذه الاتفاقية على استخدام الخطابات الإلكترونية في سياق تكوين أو تنفيذ عقد أو اتفاق تسري عليه أي من الاتفاقيات الدولية التالية، التي تكون الدولة المتعاقدة في هذه الاتفاقية، أو قد تصبح، دولة متعاقدة فيها:

" The provisions of this Convention apply further to electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract to which another international convention, treaty or agreement not specifically referred to in paragraph 1 of article 19 applies, except as otherwise stated in a declaration submitted by a State under article 18, paragraph 2. "
" تنطبق أحكام هذه الاتفاقية كذلك على استخدام الخطابات الإلكترونية في سياق تكوين أو أداء عقد ينطبق عليه أي من الاتفاقيات أو المعاهدات أو الاتفاقات الدولية الأخرى غير المذكورة تحديدا في الفقرة 1 من المادة 19، باستثناء ما يذكر خلافا لذلك في إعلان تصدره الدولة المعنية بموجب الفقرة 2 من المادة 18. "

26. The draft convention applies to the " use of electronic communications in connection with the formation or performance of a contract between parties whose places of business are in different States " .
