19. The Committee expresses concern at the alleged incidents of illegal use of force, insults and mistreatment in the Koraal Specht prison in Curaçao and the cells at the police stations on the islands of St. Maarten, Bonaire and Aruba, as well as ethnic profiling by the police and border guards aimed in particular at foreigners and members of minorities.
19- تعرب اللجنة عن قلقها لأن الحوادث المزعومة المتعلقة باستخدام القوة والشتائم وإساءة المعاملة في سجن كورال سبخت في كوراكاو وفي الزنازين في أقسام الشرطة في جزر سينت مارتن وبونير وأروبا فضلاً عن عمليات التنميط الإثني من جانب الشرطة وحرس الحدود، استهدفت بالأخص الأجانب وأفراد الأقليات.

In addition, the Committee is also particularly concerned that abortion primarily concerns adolescents and that it remains illegal in Curaçao and St. Maarten (art. 12).

52. CESCR urged the Netherlands to review the legislation in Curaçao and St. Maarten with a view to providing for exceptions to the prohibition on abortion in cases of therapeutic abortion or pregnancies resulting from rape or incest.
52- وحثت اللجنة هولندا على مراجعة التشريعات في كوراكاو وسانت مارتن من أجل إدخال استثناءات على الحظر المفروض على الإجهاض في حالات الإجهاض العلاجي أو حالات الحمل الناتجة عن الاغتصاب أو سفاح المحارم(84).

Mr. PIAR (Netherlands Antilles) said that, while the situation in Bon Futuro prison in Curaçao was far from perfect, the authorities were improving conditions using their limited financial and human resources, and with much-appreciated support from the Netherlands.
