1. The budget for the maintenance of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) for the period from 1 July 2004 to 30 June 2005 was set out in the report of the Secretary-General of 22 December 2003 (A/58/659) and amounted to $94,741,200 gross ($89,726,800 net).
1 - حــددت ميزانية الإنفاق على قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان خلال الفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2004 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2005 في تقرير الأمين العام المؤرخ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003 (A/58/659) وبلغ إجماليها 200 741 94 دولار (صافيها 800 726 89 دولار).

Those shortcomings directly affected the security and safety of UNIFIL national staff during the security crisis in Lebanon in July-August 2006.

UNFICYP, the most distant geographically, played a vital role in the evacuation and continuation of UNIFIL during the 2006 conflict and continues to support regional disaster recovery and business continuity.

72. Objectives. There was no noticeable improvement in the socio-economic conditions of the Palestine refugee community in Lebanon during the reporting period — rather the reverse.

UNIFIL has implemented the OIOS recommendations. The Department of Peacekeeping Operations/Department of Field Support commented that prior to the crisis in Lebanon in July-August 2006, the Department of Safety and Security had not been tasked with the lead on safety and security of personnel in the Mission.
وقد نفذت القوة المؤقتة في لبنان توصيات المكتب وعلقت إدارة الدعم الميداني إدارة عمليات حفظ السلام بأن إدارة شؤون السلامة والأمن لم تكلف قبل حدوث الأزمة في لبنان خلال شهري تموز/يوليه - آب/أغسطس 2006 بالزيادة في تولي سلامة وأمن الموظفين في البعثة.

On 29 November 2007, the Permanent Delegation of the State of Qatar enclosed a statement containing details of the projects and activities implemented by the Qatari Red Crescent and the National Health Authority for the benefit of the Palestinian people in Palestine and also in the Palestinian camps in Lebanon in the period 2006-2007.
وقد قامت المندوبية الدائمة لدولة قطر في 29/11/2007، بإرفاق بيان يتضمن المشاريع والأنشطة التي نفذها الهلال الأحمر القطري والهيئة الوطنية للصحة لصالح الشعب الفلسطيني في فلسطين، وكذلك في المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان خلال الفترة من 2006-2007.
