In this context, Argentina welcomes the accession of Ghana, on 12 May 2003, by which it joined Argentina, Benin, Namibia and Uruguay as States members of the zone of peace and cooperation in the South Atlantic in ratifying the Agreement, which is designed to avoid dual registration of vessels.
