Commends the Economic and Social Council for its debate and resolution on this question, and requests it to continue to consider, in consultation with the Special Committee, appropriate measures for the coordination of the policies and activities of the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system in implementing the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly;

This committee will advise ACC on how to ensure effective coordination and cooperation in the United Nations system in the implementation of the Platform for Action, and assist in the mainstreaming of a gender perspective in all areas of work and throughout the United Nations system (see sect. I, para. 21).
وستسدي هذه اللجنة المشورة الى لجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية بشأن كيفية ضمان فعالية التنسيق والتعاون في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في تنفيذ منهاج العمل، كما ستساعد في إدماج منظور نوع الجنس كعنصر رئيسي في جميع مجالات عمل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وفي كافة أنحائها )انظر الفرع أولا، الفقرة ٢١(.
