With the examination of information on the outer limits of the continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles, submitted by Brazil on 17 May 2004, the work of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf has increased, and several States have advised of their intentions to make submissions in the near future.
وبدراسة المعلومات المتعلقة بالحدود الخارجية للجرف القاري فيما وراء 200 ميل بحري، التي قدمتها البرازيل في 17 أيار/مايو 2004، ازداد عمل اللجنة المعنية بحدود الجرف القاري، وقد أبلغت عدة دول عن اعتزامها تقديم تقاريرها في المستقبل القريب.
