In accordance with the arbitral award of 14 February 1997, the Brčko Supervisor, following local elections, issued appropriate orders to enhance multi-ethnic administration, including multi-ethnic police and judiciary.

The Court held that the Indian court order purporting to set aside the award made in an arbitration seated outside of India was ineffectual.
واعتبرت المحكمة أنَّ أمر المحكمة الهندية بإبطال قرار التحكيم الصادر في دعوى تحكيم تمت خارج الهند غير ذي أثر.

It would be interesting to see whether an analysis of the arbitral award in the Rainbow Warrior case could shed new light on that matter.
