In both cases, the lists of issues prior to reporting adopted by the Committee and the written replies to the lists of issues prior to reporting shall be considered as the initial or periodic reports under article 73, paragraph 1 (b), of the Convention.

At its eighteenth session, the Committee also adopted lists of issues prior to reporting (LOIPR) in relation to States parties that had accepted its new optional LOIPR procedure and those that had been notified under rule 31 bis of the Committee's revised provisional rules of procedure (see A/67/48, para. 25):

At its forty-eighth session, the Committee adopted lists of issues prior to reporting with regard to 11 States parties that expressly accepted the invitation to submit their next report, due in 2013, under this procedure: Azerbaijan, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Israel, New Zealand, the Republic of Moldova, Slovakia, Spain and the Philippines.
