The project, jointly implemented by the Mountain Research Initiative, UNESCO and other partners, is aimed at the development of a state-of-the-art integrated and implementable research strategy to gain a better understanding of the causes and consequences of global change in a selection of 28 UNESCO Mountain Biosphere Reserves around the world.

(c) To encourage, support and implement measures and programmes aimed at increasing the knowledge and the understanding of the causes and consequences of crimes against women committed in the name of honour, among those responsible for enforcing the law and implementing policies, such as police personnel, judicial workers and health personnel;
(ج) أن تشجع وتدعم وتنفذ التدابير والبرامج الرامية إلى زيادة معرفة وفهم المسؤولين عن إنفاذ القوانين وتنفيذ السياسات، من قبيل أفراد الشرطة والمساعدين القضائيين والعاملين في مجال الصحة، لأسباب وعواقب الجرائم المرتكبة ضد المرأة باسم الشرف؛

(c) To encourage, support and implement measures and programmes aimed at increasing the knowledge and the understanding of the causes and consequences of crimes against women committed in the name of honour, among those responsible for enforcing the law and implementing policies, such as police personnel, judicial workers and health personnel;
