33. At its 6th meeting, on 1 March, the Commission took note of the note by the Secretary-General transmitting the progress report of the Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange sponsors (E/CN.3/2013/30) (see chap. I, sect. C, decision 44/116).

Takes note of paragraph 36 of the report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, and requests the Secretary-General to review the staffing structure of missions on an ongoing basis, bearing in mind, in particular, the mission's mandate and concept of operations, and to reflect this in his budget proposals, including full justification of any additional posts proposed;

11. The good offices role of the Secretary-General, carried out largely through the Special Envoy, is expected to achieve its objective provided that the Government of Myanmar, the National League for Democracy and ethnic nationality groups are willing and committed to reach a political solution and that the international community, especially the countries of the region, provide support for the Secretary-General's efforts.
