We do not understand how it is possible to demand of developing countries that they eliminate subsidies for fossil fuels when many developed countries are spending billions of dollars annually to subsidize agriculture, which is undoubtedly indirectly subsidizing fossil fuels and agro-technology packages, and thus the companies that profit from them.
ونحن لا نفهم كيف يكون ممكناً مطالبة البلدان النامية بإلغاء صور الدعم لأنواع الوقود الأحفوري بينما تنفق بلدان متقدمة عديدة بلايين الدولارات سنوياً لدعم الزراعة، فهذا يدعم دون شك وبشكل غير مباشر حزم الوقود الأحفوري والتكنولوجيا الزراعية، وهكذا تحقق الشركات الأرباح جراء ذلك.
