2. Calls upon Israel to comply with its obligations under the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law and to withdraw from the Palestinian and other Arab territories which it has occupied since 1967 by military force, including Jerusalem, in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions, so as to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their universally recognized right of self-determination;
٢ ـ تطلب إلى اسرائيل الوفاء بالتزاماتها بموجب ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، وقواعد القانون الدولي، والانسحاب من اﻷراضي الفلسطينية، بما فيها القدس، واﻷراضي العربية اﻷخرى التي تحتلها بالقوة العسكرية منذ عام ٧٦٩١، وذلك بموجب قرارات اﻷمم المتحدة المتصلة بالموضوع، لتمكين الشعب الفلسطيني من ممارسة حقه المعترف به على نطاق العالم في تقرير مصيره؛

However, there was a need for innovative solutions, and UNCTAD would have to apply its technical and analytical knowledge and take advantage of new telecommunication technologies to allow the Palestinian people to overcome internal and external geographic barriers.
