In addition, I wish to congratulate the Republic of Montenegro upon its admission to the United Nations as the l92nd Member State. Allow me to express the hope that its joining this Organization will enhance peace and stability in the world.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Montenegro to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and has the honour to inform him that the Republic of Montenegro seeks membership in the Executive Committee of the Programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

5. As the reporting period mainly included data collected before the declaration of independence by the Republic of Montenegro, the former Serbia and Montenegro had been considered under a single heading.

Law on Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Montenegro that is being drafted does not envisage any special regulations to govern women's representation in diplomacy and in international organizations i.e. it has been drafted in gender-neutral manner.
