The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 stated in article 1,
ينص الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر عام 1948 في مادته الأولى على ما يلي:

99. The Freedoms provided for in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 10 December 1948 are taken into account in the Constitution of Chad.
99- وقد راعى دستور تشاد الحريات المنصوص عليها في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948.

It should be borne in mind that the principles of the equal rights of women and men and of non-discrimination on the basis of sex are set forth in the Charter of the United Nations as one of the purposes of the Organization, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948.
وينبغي أن يوضع في الاعتبار أن مبدأ المساواة في الحقوق بين الرجل والمرأة ومبدأ عدم التمييز على أساس نوع الجنس ينص عليهما ميثاق الأمم المتحدة على اعتبارهما من بين أهداف المنظمة، وينص عليهما كذلك الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في عام 1948.

That Constitution of the Niger reiterates the commitment of the sovereign people of the Niger to human rights as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 and the African Charter of Human and People's Rights of 1981 is a reflection of the embodiment of fundamental human rights principles in the Constitution.
إن إعادة التأكيد في دستور النيجر على تمسك الشعب النيجري ذي السيادة بحقوق الإنسان على نحو ما عرفه الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في عام 1948 والميثاق الأفريقي لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب الصادر في عام 1981، هي تفسير وتكريس لاحترام نص الدستور للمبادئ الرئيسية المتعلقة بهذه المسألة.

4. European Court of Human Rights ruling in Maktouf and Damjanovič 54. In the reporting period, there continued to be challenges in processing war crimes cases arising out of the July 2013 decision by the European Court of Human Rights in the Maktouf and Damjanovič case.

2.5 The author has also submitted the decision of the European Commission of Human Rights of 25 November 1996 concerning a complaint of illtreatment during various incidents that took place in August 1993, October 1994, December 1994, May 1995 and October 1995.

567. Article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 states that: " Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits. "
567- وتنص المادة 27 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في عام 1948، على أن: " لكل شخص حق المشاركة الحرة في حياة المجتمع الثقافية وفي الاستمتاع بالفنون والإسهام في التقدم العلمي وفي الفوائد التي تنجم عنه " .

107. The Act of 20 November 2007 introduced a suspensive appeal for persons refused entry to France on grounds of asylum, in conformity with the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights of 26 April 2007 in the case of Gebremedhin v. France.
107- وأخيراً يجيز القانون الصادر في 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 لطالبي اللجوء الذين لم يصرح لهم بدخول الأراضي الإقليمية بصفتهم تلك أن يقيموا دعوى طعن إيقافي بمقتضى قرار المحكمة الأوروبية لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 26 نيسان/أبريل 2007 بشأن قضية غيبريمدين ضد فرنسا.

Finally, the Committee urged the State party to comply with the ruling of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights of 27 June 2012 in the case of Kichwa de Sarayaku v. Ecuador (E/C.12/ECU/CO/3, para. 9).

CERD was concerned about breaches of international norms regarding protection of refugees or asylum seekers, as demonstrated by the judgement of the European Court of Human Rights of 23 February 2012 against Italy on the collective expulsion of 24 persons.
80- وأعربت لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري عن قلقها إزاء مخالفة المعايير الدولية المتعلقة بحماية اللاجئين أو ملتمسي اللجوء، على النحو الذي بيَّنه حكم المحكمة الأوروبية لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 23 شباط/فبراير 2012 ضد إيطاليا بشأن الطرد الجماعي ل24 شخصاً(135).

It should also be borne in mind that the principles of equal rights of men and women and of non-discrimination on the basis of sex are set forth in the Charter of the United Nations as one of its purposes, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 and in various multilateral instruments, to which Thailand, Tunisia and Bangladesh are parties.
ولا بد من التنبيه أيضا إلى أن مبدأي التساوي في الحقوق بين الرجل والمرأة وعدم التمييز بينهما على أساس الجنس يردان أيضا في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة باعتبارهما أحد أغراضه، كما يردان في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 1948 وفي عديد من الصكوك المتعددة الأطراف التي تعتبر تايلند وتونس وبنغلاديش أطرافا فيها.

56. More generally, article 8 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 1948 provides that " [e]veryone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law. "
56 - على مستوى أعم، تنص المادة 8 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948 على أن " لكل شخص حق اللجوء إلى المحاكم الوطنية المختصة لإنصافه الفعلي من أية أعمال تنتهك الحقوق الأساسية التي يمنحها إياه الدستور أو القانون " .

63. The constitutions and organization acts adopted by the different regimes that have governed the Central African Republic reaffirm the country's commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 10 December 1948, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of 16 December 1966.
63- تؤكد الدساتير والقوانين الأساسية التي اعتمدتها مختلف أنظمة جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى الالتزام بالإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948، وبالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية الصادرين في 16 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1966.

" Discrimination between human beings on grounds of religion or belief constitutes an affront to human dignity and a disavowal of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and shall be condemned as a violation of the human rights and fundamental freedoms proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights [of 1948] " .
" التمييز بين البشر على أساس الدين أو المعتقد يشكل إهانة للكرامة الإنسانية وإنكارا لمبادئ ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، ويجب أن يشجب بوصفه انتهاكا لحقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية التي نادى بها الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان (الصادر في عام 1948) " .

21. The Constitution adopted by referendum on 31 March 1996 proclaims the country's commitment to human rights as set out in the Charter of the United Nations of 1945, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 10 December 1948, the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights of 1981 and numerous legislative and regulatory instruments.
21- يعلن القانون الأساسي للجمهورية الذي اعتُمد بواسطة استفتاء في 31 آذار/مارس 1996 التزام جمهورية تشاد بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان كما هي معرَّفة في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة لعام 1945، والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الصادر في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948، والميثاق الأفريقي لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب لعام 1981، فضلاً عن عديد النصوص التشريعية والتنظيمية.

In the present case, the State party argues that the author petitioned the Committee in February 2006, i.e. seven years and two months after the Brno Regional Court decision of 8 December 1998 or at least 3 years and almost 5 months after the decision of the European Court of Human Rights of 10 September 2002, without offering any explanation to justify such an unreasonable delay.

They were enshrined in the preamble to the Constitution, which stated that the Mauritanian people were determined to guarantee the principles of democracy as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 10 December 1948 and the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights of 28 July 1981, as well as international conventions to which Mauritania was party.

A compensation scheme has not yet been finalized to compensate the violations of the rights of erased people and their children in line with the European Court of Human Rights ruling in 2012;
