كيفية التعبير في القانون المحلي عن التعريف الواسع ﻟ " الضحية " ، بحيث يشمل الشخص المختفي وأي فرد لحق به ضرر مباشر من جراء الاختفاء القسري؛

143. Accordingly, adoption of the definition contained in article 24, paragraph 1 ( " For the purposes of this Convention, `victim'means the disappeared person and any individual who has suffered harm as the direct result of an enforced disappearance " ), will necessitate consideration of the amendment of the Iraqi legal system in regard to criminal acts of enforced disappearance.
143- وعلى هذا الأساس فان الأخذ بالتعريف الوارد في المادة 24/1 " لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية، يقصد ﺑ `الضحية` الشخص المختفي وكل شخص طبيعي لحق به ضرر مباشر من جراء هذا الاختفاء القسري " يقتضي البحث في تعديل منظومة التشريعات العراقية ذات العلاقة بجريمة الاختفاء القسري.
