The present report has been prepared pursuant to resolution 58/133, in which the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to include in his report to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session a global analysis and evaluation of national action plans on youth employment.

It updates and builds upon earlier reports of the Secretary-General to the General Assembly on the Network, and therefore should be read in conjunction with the reports on promoting youth employment (A/58/229) and on the global analysis and evaluation of national action plans on youth employment (A/60/133).

D. Status of national action plans on youth employment 98. The report of the Secretary-General on the theme " Global analysis and evaluation of national action plans on youth employment " (A/60/133) reviewed progress achieved by Member States with regard to national reviews and action plans on youth employment.
98 - استعرض تقرير الأمين العام الذي ورد تحت عنوان " تحليل وتقويم شاملان لخطط العمل الوطنية المتعلقة بتشغيل الشباب " (A/60/133)، التقدم الذي أحرزته الدول الأعضاء فيما يخص القيام باستعراضات ووضع خطط عمل وطنية بشأن تشغيل الشباب.

24. Azerbaijan, as one of the few members of the Youth Employment Network, supported the recommendations in the Secretary-General's report on global analysis and evaluation of national action plans on youth employment (A/60/133) to the effect that the Network should be strengthened as a peer exchange, support and review mechanism; and in that regard, it emphasized the role of ILO, the World Bank and other partners.
24 - ولاحظ أن أذربايجان، بوصفها من الأعضاء القليلين في شبكة توظيف الشباب، تؤيد التوصيات الواردة في تقرير الأمين العام المعنون " تحليل وتقويم شاملان لخطط العمل الوطنية المتعلقة بتشغيل الشباب " (A/60/133) والتي تدعو إلى ضرورة دعم الشبكة بوصفها آلية للتبادل والدعم والاستعراض بين الأنداد. وتؤكد دور منظمة العمل الدولية والبنك الدولي والشركاء الآخرين، في هذا الصدد.
