Confidential data and information may only be used by the Authority as necessary for and relevant to the effective exercise of the powers and functions of the Authority in respect of the exploration area.

2. In this respect, it would be appropriate to mention the system of responsibility of the International Seabed Authority for damage arising out of wrongful acts in the exercise of its powers and functions, established in article 22 of annex III to the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
2 - وفي هذا الصدد، ينبغي استحضار نظام مسؤولية السلطة الدولية لقاع البحار في إطار الأضرار الناجمة عن الأفعال غير المشروعة المرتكبة في سياق ممارستها لسلطاتها ومهامها وفقا لما هو منصوص عليه في المادة 22 من المرفق الثالث لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار لعام 1982.

(a) Copies of geological, environmental, geochemical and geophysical data acquired by the Contractor in the course of carrying out the programme of activities that are necessary for and relevant to the effective exercise of the powers and functions of the Authority in respect of the exploration area;
(أ) نسخ من جميع البيانات الجيولوجية، والبيئية، والجيوكيميائية والجيوفيزيائية التي حصل عليها في أثناء تنفيذ برنامج الأنشطة مما يلزم ويتسم بالأهمية من أجل ممارسة السلطة لسلطاتها ومهامها بفعالية فيما يتعلق بقطاع الاستكشاف؛

(c) Copies of geological, technical, financial and economic reports made by or for the Contractor that are necessary for and relevant to the effective exercise of the powers and functions of the Authority in respect of the exploration area;
(ج) نسخ من جميع التقارير الجيولوجية والتقنية والمالية والاقتصادية التي أعدها المتعاقد بنفسه أو أعدت له، مما يلزم ويتسم بالأهمية من أجل ممارسة السلطة لسلطاتها ومهامها بفعالية فيما يتعلق بمنطقة الاستكشاف؛
