308- وقرّرت اللجنة أن توصي بمنح صفة المراقب الدائم للمنظمة الأوروبية لسواتل الاتصالات والمنظمة الأوروبية للأبحاث الفلكية في نصف الكرة الأرضية الجنوبي.

While the Committee noted the interest of the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere, it decided not to recommend the granting of permanent observer status to that organization as it had not been present at the fiftieth session of the Committee to respond to the questions of members of the Committee.
311- ولئن لاحظت اللجنة اهتمام المنظمة الأوروبية للأبحاث الفلكية في نصف الكرة الأرضية الجنوبي، فقد قررت ألا توصي بمنح تلك المنظمة صفة المراقب الدائم لأنها لم تكن حاضرة في دورة اللجنة الخمسين لكي تجيب على أسئلة أعضاء اللجنة.

Representatives of COSPAR, the European Organization for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO) and the International Astronomical Union (IAU) were among those participating in the Symposium.
18- وشارك في الندوة أيضاً ممثَّلون من لجنة أبحاث الفضاء والمنظمة الأوروبية للأبحاث الفلكية في نصف الكرة الأرضية الجنوبي (المرصد الجنوبي الأوروبي) والاتحاد الفلكي الدولي.

The Subcommittee welcomed the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO), the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization (EUTELSAT-IGO), the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) and the Secure World Foundation (SWF) as the newest permanent observers of the Committee.
