71. One Humanitarian Affairs Officer position (P-3) in the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit is proposed to be abolished.
71 - ويُقترح إلغاء وظيفة واحدة لموظف للشؤون الإنسانية (برتبة ف-3) في الوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات.

One existing position of Humanitarian Affairs Officer (P-3) is proposed to be abolished in the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit (ibid., para. 71).
ويُقترح إلغاء وظيفة واحدة لموظف للشؤون الإنسانية (ف-3) في الوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات (المرجع نفسه، الفقرة 71).

179. Due to the anticipated outsourcing in 2013 of the construction project of the Integrated United Nations headquarters in Iraq, the position of Senior Project Officer was redeployed in 2013 to the Office of the Special Representative and retitled Chief, Joint Analysis and Policy Unit.
179 - وبالنظر إلى الاستعانة المتوقعة بمصادر خارجية في عام 2013 لمشروع تشييد مقر الأمم المتحدة المتكامل في العراق، نُقلت وظيفة كبير موظفي المشاريع في عام 2013 إلى مكتب الممثل الخاص وأعيدت تسميتها بوظيفة رئيس الوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات.

Based on this successful model, UNAMI has concluded that efficiency would be achieved by restructuring the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit as a stand-alone unit, incorporating the functions of the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit and the Information Analysis Unit, and renaming it the Joint Analysis Unit. The Joint Analysis Unit will report to the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General.

In this connection, the Advisory Committee notes that it is proposed to redeploy one position of Senior Project Officer (P-5) in the Headquarters Construction Unit in Baghdad to the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit under the Office of the Special Representative as Chief of Joint Analysis and Policy Unit (P-5) (ibid., para. 187).

In 2013, it is proposed that a Joint Analysis and Policy Unit be established in UNAMI under the Office of the Special Representative, in order to provide the Special Representative with focused, integrated, forward-looking analysis drawn upon information across all pillars of the Mission and United Nations agencies, funds and programmes.

62. It is proposed that the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit be created in the Office of the Special Representative in Baghdad and comprise of one Chief of the Joint Analysis and Policy Unit (P-5) redeployed from the Office of the Chief of Mission Support, one Political Affairs Officer (P-4), Baghdad, to be redeployed from the Office of Political Affairs, and retitled Deputy Chief, Joint Analysis and Policy Unit.
62 - ويقترح إنشاء الوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات في مكتب الممثل الخاص في بغداد بحيث تشمل رئيسا واحدا للوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات (ف-5) يُنقل من مكتب رئيس دعم البعثة، وموظف للشؤون السياسية (ف-4)، ببغداد، يُنقل من مكتب الشؤون السياسية، وإعادة تسمية وظيفته لتصبح وظيفة نائب رئيس الوحدة المشتركة للتحليلات والسياسات.
