Mr. Waheed (Maldives) said that poverty eradication was a matter of human rights and that his country, which had been among the first countries to participate in the Social protection floor Initiative, supported the call of the Special Rapporteur for universal implementation of a social protection floor and supported the inclusion of social protection floors in the post-2015 development agenda.
