In November 2011, the National Criminal Policy Council (CONAPOC) was set up for the purpose of designing, supervising and following up on the State's policy on crime, in accordance with the Bangkok Declaration on Synergies and Responses: Strategic Alliances in Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. The Council is a multisectoral body headed by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
