13. Recognizing the need to promote sustainable management of all types of forests at all levels, the General Assembly may wish to consider the following recommendations:

8. Recognizing the need to promote sustainable management of all types of forests at all levels, the General Assembly may wish to consider the following recommendations:
8 - إن الجمعية إذ تقر بالحاجة إلى تعزيز الإدارة المستدامة للغابات بجميع أنواعها على جميع المستويات، قد تود في النظر في التوصيات التالية:

(e) There should be an analysis of the implications of the proliferation of initiatives for the development of criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management of all types of forests.

(أ) تعزيز الالتزام والعمل السياسيين على الصعد كافة من أجل تحقيق الإدارة المستدامة للغابات بجميع أنواعها على نحو فعال، وتحقيق الأهداف العالمية المشتركة بشأن الغابات؛

4. Sustainable forest management, as a dynamic and evolving concept, aims to maintain and enhance the economic, social and environmental values of all types of forests, for the benefit of present and future generations.

Also recognizing the need to strengthen political commitment and collective efforts at all levels, to include forests on national and international development agendas, to enhance national policy coordination and international cooperation and to promote intersectoral coordination at all levels for the effective implementation of sustainable management of all types of forests,
وإذ يسلم أيضا بضرورة تعزيز الالتزام السياسي والجهود الجماعية المبذولة على جميع الصعد، وإدراج مسألة الغابات في جداول الأعمال الوطنية والدولية المتعلقة بالتنمية، والنهوض بتنسيق السياسات الوطنية والتعاون الدولي، وتعزيز التنسيق فيما بين القطاعات على جميع المستويات من أجل تحقيق الإدارة المستدامة للغابات بجميع أنواعها على نحو فعال،

Recognizing that endeavours for the conservation, and sustainable management and development of all types of forests should be strengthened, so that forests and forest ecosystems contribute fully to the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals, including those contained in the Millennium Declaration, taking full account of the linkages between the forestry sector and other sectors;
واعترافاً بوجوب تعزيز الحفظ والإدارة والتنمية المستدامة للغابات بجميع أنواعها بحيث تسهم الغابات والنظم الإيكولوجية المتعلقة بالغابات بالكامل في تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا، بما في ذلك الأهداف الواردة في إعلان الألفية، مع الأخذ في كل الاعتبار بالروابط القائمة بين قطاع الغابات والقطاعات الأخرى؛

Regarding its scope (sect. III), the forest instrument states: " Sustainable forest management, as a dynamic and evolving concept, aims to maintain and enhance the economic, social and environmental values of all types of forests, for the benefit of present and future generations " .

26. Emphasizes the importance of strengthening political commitment and action at all levels to implement effectively the sustainable management of all types of forests and to achieve the global objectives set out in the present resolution by requesting the Forum to conclude and adopt at its seventh session a non-legally binding instrument on all types of forests, in order to facilitate the work of the Forum in this regard;
26 - يشدد على أهمية تعزيز الالتزام السياسي والعمل على جميع الصعد لتحقيق الإدارة المستدامة للغابات بجميع أنواعها على نحو فعال وتحقيق الأهداف العالمية المبينة في هذا القرار، بتوجيه طلب إلى المنتدى أن يقوم في دورته السابعة بإبرام واعتماد صك غير ملزم قانونا بشأن الغابات بجميع أنواعها بغية تيسير عمل المنتدى في هذا الصدد؛
