The Commission noted the statement by the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women, expressing her appreciation to members of the Commission and to its secretariat for its leadership and commitment to advancing the goal of gender equality in the organizations of the common system.
وأحاطت اللجنة علما ببيان مستشارة اﻷمين العام الخاصة للقضايا المتعلقة بنوع الجنس والنهوض بالمرأة الذي أعربت فيه عن تقديرها ﻷعضاء اللجنة وﻷمانتها على دورها القيادي والتزامها بتحقيق هدف المساواة بين الجنسين في منظمات النظام الموحد.

The Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women has been asked to assist in developing modalities for introducing gender analysis and gender balance into programmes and staffing policies.
وطُلب من المستشارة الخاصة لﻷمين العام للقضايا المتعلقة بنوع الجنس والنهوض بالمرأة المساعدة على استحداث طرائق ﻹدماج التحليل من حيث نوع الجنس والتوازن بين الجنسين في البرامج وفي السياسات العامة للتوظيف.

The Committee appreciated the number of results already in evidence due to the joint efforts of the Office of the Special Adviser on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women and the Division for the Advancement of Women to implement the recommendations made by the Commission three years ago.
