Under Legislative Decree No. 5 amending article 170 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, anyone sentenced to pay a fine may be imprisoned for up to one year to compel performance.
وتطبيقاً للمرسوم بقانون رقم 5 الذي يعدل المادة 170 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية، يجوز الحكم على الأشخاص المدانين بدفع غرامة بالسجن لمدة يمكن أن تصل حتى سنة بحبس المدين لإجباره على سداد دينه.

68. The administration of juvenile justice is currently regulated by Legislative Decree No. 17 of 1976, which establishes a Juvenile Court competent to hear cases involving minors up to the age of 15 who have committed an offence or are somehow at risk.
68- يخضع قضاء الأحداث حالياً للمرسوم بقانون رقم 17 لعام 1976. وينشئ هذا المرسوم محكمة أحداث مختصة بمحاكمة الأحداث دون 15 سنة من العمر سواء اقترفوا جناية أو كانوا معرضين لخطر الانحراف خلقياً.

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 92/1981 of the Minister of Education, this Committee gave rise to a number of other committees, namely the Information Committee, the Statistics Committee, the Technical Committee and the Health and Social Committee. Within the framework of their respective areas of specialization, each of these committees comprehensively studied Legislative Decree No. 4 of 1981 in order to have an overall view of the aims of literacy.
