Constraints on the availability of trade finance, in particular to the emerging private sector in those countries, are addressed through the Trade Facilitation Programme of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: support to foreign trade in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was provided through this programme and as a result, the volumes of trade credit increased significantly there.
