Despite the staff's participation in the SMCC machinery remaining suspended, the Staff Union continued to forge better staff-management relations, particularly when the General Assembly decided that the Secretary-General should appoint a panel of external and independent experts to consider redesigning the system of administration of justice at the United Nations (resolution 59/283).

During its consideration of these matters, the Advisory Committee bore in mind that the panel of external and independent experts to consider redesigning the system of administration of justice (the " redesign panel " ) called for in General Assembly resolution 59/283 of 13 April 2005 will be established shortly and will be submitting a comprehensive report on the administration of justice.
3 - وقد وضعت اللجنة الاستشارية في اعتبارها، عند النظر في هذه المسائل، أنه سيجري قريبا إنشاء فريق الخبراء الخارجيين والمستقلين للنظر في إعادة تصميم نظام إقامة العدل ( " فريق إعادة التصميم " ) الذي دعت الجمعية العامة إلى إنشائه في القرار 59/283 المؤرخ 13 نيسان/أبريل 2005، والذي سيقدم تقريرا شاملا عن إقامة العدل.
