This approach includes adjustments to the entire programme to conform to the four pillars of the Declaration by streamlining the strategic and expert-level dialogue process and realigning the Automated Donor Assistance Mechanism to support the partnership's role as a hub for information on matters related to the Paris Pact.

The present report has been prepared based on information available to UNODC at the end of 2008, including data and other information contained in the Automated Donor Assistance Mechanism (ADAM) and reports voluntarily submitted by Member States.

(g) Urging Paris Pact partners, particularly those that have funded, on a bilateral basis, initiatives in the field of counter-narcotics enforcement, to make available data and other information on the bilateral assistance provided, in the area of drug control, through the Automated Donor Assistance Mechanism (www.paris-pact.net).

In October 2005, the Automated Donor Assistance Mechanism (ADAM) (www.paris-pact.net), which coordinates technical assistance to avoid overlap of activities, made available more than 270 detailed entries on technical assistance projects in the area of drug law enforcement.

41- واستحدث المكتب الآلية المؤتمتة لمساعدة الجهات المانحة (آدم)، وهي أداة قائمة على الإنترنت لتنسيق المساعدات التقنية في مجال مكافحة المخدرات في البلدان الواقعة على امتداد الدروب الرئيسية لتهريب المواد الأفيونية من أفغانستان.

Based on the political and operational outcomes and the key findings of the evaluation, partners agreed to extend the third phase to May 2013, which allowed for adequate planning and design of the new phase, with the following three existing components: the consultative mechanism; the research and liaison officer network; and the automated Donor Assistance mechanism.

Also, better recording systems are essential for the monitoring of timely and reliable data on resource flows to assist donors and developing countries identify funding gaps and coordinate donor financing policies.

At the same time, recipient countries should ensure that international assistance for population and development activities is used effectively to meet national population and development objectives so as to assist donors in securing further commitments on resources for implementing the Programme of Action.
