1. 4. By a letter dated 22 May 2002, the United Kingdom informed the Secretariat of the Authority of the nomination of Michael C. Wood, Legal Adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to fill the vacant seat on the Finance Committee.

4. By a note verbale dated 15 March 2013, the Permanent Mission of Argentina to the International Seabed Authority informed the secretariat of the Authority of the nomination of Víctor Enrique Marzari, Minister Plenipotentiary, as a candidate to fill the vacant seat on the Commission.
4 - وفي مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 15 آذار/مارس 2013، أبلغت البعثة الدائمة للأرجنتين لدى السلطة الدولية لقاع البحار أمانة السلطة بترشيح فيكتور إنريكي مارساري، الوزير المفوض، لملء المقعد الشاغر في اللجنة.

4. By a letter dated 23 April 1999 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Costa Rica informed the Secretary-General of the Authority of the nomination of Mr. Mayrand Roberto Rios Barboza, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica, as candidate for the election to fill the vacant seat on the Commission.

4. On 4 March 1998, the Government of Tunisia informed the secretariat of the Authority of the nomination of Mr. Walid Doudech (Tunisia) to fill the vacant seat on the Finance Committee.
٤ - وفي ٤ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٨، أخطرت حكومة تونس أمانة السلطة بتسمية السيد وليد دودش )تونس( لملء المقعد الشاغر في اللجنة المالية.

4. By a note verbale dated 23 July 1998 from the Embassy of Japan in Jamaica, the Government of Japan informed the Secretary-General of the Authority of the nomination of Mr. Yuji Kajitani, expert in geology from the Metal Mining Agency of Japan, as candidate for the election to fill the vacant seat on the Commission.
