The SBSTA is expected to complete the work on the pending parts of the guidelines under Articles 7 and 8 of the Kyoto Protocol referred to in paragraph above, and to recommend to the COP, at its eighth session, decisions for adoption by the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol at its first session.
ويُنتظر أن تستكمل الهيئة الفرعية عملها بشأن الأجزاء المتبقية من المبادئ التوجيهية في إطار المادتين 7 و8 من بروتوكول كيوتو المشار إليها في الفقرة 16 أعلاه، وأن توصي مؤتمر الأطراف، في دورته الثامنة، بمقررات ليعتمدها مؤتمر الأطراف عاملاً بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو في دورته الأولى.
