By its resolution 1865 (2009), the Security Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) and the French Licorne force until 31 July 2009, and requested me to report on the situation in Côte d'Ivoire and on progress towards achieving the benchmarks for a possible phased drawdown of the troop levels of UNOCI.
