VI. COST ESTIMATE for the maintenance of the Mission ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR THE PERIOD AFTER 30 NOVEMBER 1994

With regard to the period after 30 November 1994, that Advisory Committee recommends that the Secretary-General be authorized to enter into commitments for the maintenance of the Mission at a rate not to exceed $3.2 million gross per month.
وفيما يتعلق بفترة ما بعد ٣٠ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٤، توصي اللجنة الاستشارية بأن يؤذن لﻷمين العام بالدخول في التزامات لﻹبقاء على البعثة بمعدل شهري لا يتجاوز إجماليه ٣,٢ مليون دولار. ــ ــ ــ ــ ــ

Among the developments was the adoption by the General Assembly of resolution 48/250 B of 23 June 1994, in which the Assembly authorized the Secretary-General to utilize $18.8 million gross from the unencumbered balance of the initial appropriation for the maintenance of MINURSO for the period from 1 April to 31 July 1994.
وكان من بين هذه التطورات اعتماد الجمعية العامة القرار ٤٨/٢٥٠ ياء المؤرخ ٢٣ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٤ الذي أذنت فيه الجمعية العامة لﻷمين العام بأن يستخدم مبلغا إجماليه ١٨,٨ مليون دولار من الرصيد غير المرتبط به من الاعتماد اﻷولي لﻹبقاء على البعثة للفترة من ١ نيسان/أبريل الى ٣١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤.

40. Should the Security Council decide to renew the mandate of UNOMIG beyond 15 May 1995, the monthly cost of maintaining the Mission until 13 July 1995 will be limited, initially, to the commitment authority contained in General Assembly resolution 49/231.
٠٤ - وإذا ما قرر مجلس اﻷمن تجديد ولاية البعثة فيما بعد ١٥ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٥، فإن التكلفة الشهرية لﻹبقاء على البعثة حتى ١٣ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٥ ستقتصر، في بادئ اﻷمر، على سلطة الالتزام الواردة في قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٢٣١.

The Secretary-General will report to the Assembly on the additional requirements needed, if any, for the maintenance of the Mission beyond 30 June 1997.
وسيقدم اﻷمين العام تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة عن الاحتياجات اﻹضافية، إن وجدت، لﻹبقاء على البعثة بعد ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧.

In the same resolution, the Assembly authorized the Secretary-General to enter into commitments for the maintenance of the Mission at a rate not to exceed $3.4 million per month for the period from 1 August to 30 September 1994.
وفي القرار ذاته، أذنت الجمعية العامة لﻷمين العام بالدخول في التزامات لﻹبقاء على البعثة بمعدل لا يتجاوز ٣,٤ ملايين دولار شهريا للفترة من ١ آب/أغسطس الى ٣٠ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٤.

The Committee was informed that the cost estimates of $3 million for the maintenance of the Mission on a monthly basis for the period after 30 November 1994 also reflected requirements net of voluntary contributions.
وأبلغت اللجنة بأن تقديرات التكاليف التي تبلغ ٣ ملايين من الدولارات لﻹبقاء على البعثة على أساس شهري للفترة لما بعد ٣٠ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٤ تعكس أيضا احتياجات صافية من التبرعات.

18. The General Assembly, by its resolution 50/238 of 7 June 1996, appropriated $7,478,900 gross for the maintenance of the Mission for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 June 1997.
١٨ - اعتمدت الجمعية العامة بقرارهـا ٥٠/٢٣٨ المـؤرخ ٧ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٦، مبلغـا إجماليـه ٩٠٠ ٤٧٨ ٧ دولار لﻹبقاء على البعثة في الفترة من ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٦ إلى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧.

The Secretary-General proposed that, should the Security Council decide to continue UNIKOM beyond 8 April 1995, the General Assembly should grant approval of the amount of $15.6 million net for the maintenance of the Mission for the period from 1 April to 30 June 1995.
وأشار الى أن اﻷمين العام اقترح، في حالة ما إذا قرر مجلس اﻷمن مواصلة البعثة بعد ٨ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٥، أن توافق الجمعية العامــة على مبلــغ صافيه ١٥,٦ مليــون دولار لﻹبقاء على البعثة للفترة من ١ نيسان/أبريل الى ٣١ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٥.

The General Assembly, by its resolution 50/90 of 19 December 1995, inter alia, appropriated and assessed the amount of $152,011,500 gross ($149,680,400 net) for the maintenance of the Mission for the same period.
كذلك انتهت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٥٠/٩٠ المؤرخ ١٩ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥، الى جملة أمور، منها اعتماد وقسمة مبلغ إجماليه ٠٠٥ ١١٠ ٢٥١ دولار )الصافي ٠٠٤ ٠٨٦ ٩٤١ دولار( لﻹبقاء على البعثة للفترة نفسها.

22. My proposed budget for the maintenance of the Mission for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 June 1997 (A/50/655/Add.1) has been submitted to the General Assembly for consideration at its resumed session.
٢٢ - وقد تم تقديم ميزانيتي المقترحة لﻹبقاء على البعثة للفترة من ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٦ إلى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧ )A/50/655/Add.1( إلى الجمعية العامة لتنظر فيها في دورتها المستأنفة.

The present report contains the financial performance report of the United Nations Mission in Haiti (UNMIH) for the period from 1 August 1994 to 31 January 1995, the budget for the seven-month period from 1 August 1995 to 29 February 1996 and the monthly costs thereafter for the maintenance of the Mission.
يتضمن هذا التقرير تقرير اﻷداء المالي لبعثة اﻷمم المتحدة في هايتي للفترة من ١ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٤ إلى ٣١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٥، والميزانية لفترة سبعة أشهر من ١ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٥ إلى ٢٩ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٦ والتكاليف الشهرية بعد ذلك لﻹبقاء على البعثة.

The monthly revised cost for the maintenance of MINURSO during the period from 1 April to 31 July 1994 is estimated at $4,703,200 gross ($4,423,300 net).
وتقدر التكاليف الشهرية المنقحة لﻹبقاء على البعثة خلال الفترة الممتدة من ١ نيسان/أبريل الى ٣١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤ بمبلغ اجماليه ٢٠٠ ٧٠٣ ٤ دولار )صافيه ٣٠٠ ٤٢٣ ٤ دولار(.

The total cost of maintaining the Mission for the period from 1 July 1997 to 30 June 1998 was originally estimated at $7,967,700 gross ($7,413,300 net) in document A/51/784/Add.2.
وقدرت أصلا التكلفة اﻹجمالية لﻹبقاء على البعثة في الفترة من ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٧ إلى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٨ بمبلغ إجماليه ٧٠٠ ٩٦٧ ٧ دولار )صافيه ٣٠٠ ٤١٣ ٧ دولار( في الوثيقة A/51/784/Add.2.

54. The revised budget for the maintenance of UNOMIL at its present reduced level for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 June 1997, which is currently before the General Assembly for its consideration, amounts to $14,512,800 gross and is equivalent to a monthly rate of $1,209,400 gross.
٥٤ - يبلغ إجمالي الميزانية المنقحة اللازمة لﻹبقاء على البعثة عند مستواها المخفض الحالي خلال الفترة من ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٦ الى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧، المعروضة اﻵن علــى الجمعيــة العامة للنظر فيها، ٨٠٠ ٥١٢ ١٤ دولار، وهو ما يساوي معدلا شهريا إجماليه ٤٠٠ ٢٠٩ ١ دولار.

5. By a letter dated 15 June 1999, the Advisory Committee concurred with the request of the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in the amount not exceeding $5,470,800 gross ($5,186,800 net) for the maintenance of UNOMSIL for the 4-month period from 1 July to 31 October 1999 (see annex I).
٥ - وفي رسالة مؤرخة ١٥ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩، وافقت اللجنة الاستشارية على طلب اﻷمين العام بالدخول في التزامات بمبلغ لا يتجاوز إجماليه ٨٠٠ ٤٧٠ ٥ دولار )صافيه ٨٠٠ ١٨٦ ٥ دولار( لﻹبقاء على البعثة لفترة اﻷربعة أشهر الممتدة من ١ تموز/يوليه إلى ٣١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٩ )انظر المرفق اﻷول(.

36. The General Assembly, by its resolution 61/248 B of 29 June 2007, appropriated the amount of $113.5 million for the maintenance of UNMEE for the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008.
36 - خصصت الجمعية العامة، بقرارها 61/248 باء المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2007، مبلغا قدره 113.5 مليون دولار للإبقاء على البعثة في الفترة الممتدة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2007 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2008.

80. By its resolution 62/261, the General Assembly appropriated an amount of $574,916,500, equivalent to $47,909,700 per month, for the maintenance of MINUSTAH for the period from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009.
80 - قررت الجمعية العامة بموجب قرارها 62/261، أن تخصص مبلغا قدره 500 916 574 دولار، أي ما يعادل 700 909 47 دولار شهريا، للإبقاء على البعثة خلال الفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2008 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2009.

On the basis of this cost estimate, I have requested the Assembly to provide the necessary resources for the maintenance of UNAMIR, should the Security Council decide to extend its mandate beyond 9 December 1994.
وعلى أساس تقدير التكلفة هذا، طلبت من الجمعية أن توفر الموارد الضرورية لﻹبقاء على البعثة فيما لو قرر مجلس اﻷمن تمديد ولايتها الى ما بعد ٩ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.
