The June and December incidents in Maafushi as well as the response of the prison staff to those incidents suggest, that there is a need for greater oversight of responses to incidents in prison.     Certain educational activity was also being conducted in the Maafushi prison, however, at the time of the visit, it involved less than 10% of prisoners. UN كما كانت بعض الأنشطة الثقافية في سجن مافوشي جارية وقت الزيارة التي قام بها الوفد وتهم هذه الأنشطة أقل من 10 في المائة من السجناء.
    225. The authorities informed the delegation that the last riots in the Maafushi prison in December 2007 were due to cancellation of family visits. UN 225- وأبلغت السلطات الوفد بأن أعمال الشغب الأخيرة التي شهدها سجن مافوشي في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007 كانت تعزى إلى إلغاء الزيارات الأسرية.
    13. After sentencing, the four detainees were returned to Mafushi island prison where they are currently serving their sentences. UN 13- وعقب صدور الحكم، أُعيد المحتجزون الأربعة إلى سجن جزيرة مافوشي حيث يمضون حالياً فترة الأحكام التي صدرت بحقهم.
