7. Invites States and the United Nations system to consider ways and means to ensure the integration of the White Helmets initiative into their programme activities, particularly those related to humanitarian and disaster relief assistance;
٧ - تدعو الدول ومنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة إلى النظر في طرق ووسائل كفالة إدماج مبادرة " ذوي الخوذ البيض " في أنشطة برامجها، ولا سيما تلك المتصلة بالمساعدة اﻹنسانية والمساعدة الغوثية في حالات الكوارث؛

16. Taking into account General Assembly resolution 54/98, the Government of Argentina ratified its support to the White Helmets initiative and designated a new president and board members for the Commission, who jointly with the United Nations Volunteers have developed White Helmets missions since 2000.
16 - ومع مراعاة قرار الجمعية العامة 54/98، أقرت حكومة الأرجنتين تقديم دعم إلى مبادرة ذوي الخوذ البيض وعينت رئيسا جديدا وأعضاء مجلس إدارة اللجنة الذين قاموا بالتعاون مع متطوعي الأمم المتحدة بإيفاد بعثات من ذوي الخوذ البيض منذ عام 2000.

2. In resolution 50/19, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report to it at its fifty-second session on the technical, institutional and financial viability of the White Helmets initiative.
٢ - وفي القرار ٥٠/١٩، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إلى دورتها الثانية والخمسين تقريرا عن قدرة مبادرة ذوي الخوذ البيض على الاستمرار من النواحي التقنية والمؤسسية والمالية.

4. In the relatively brief period since its establishment, the White Helmets initiative has developed into a valuable and cost-effective mechanism to support the operational capacity of the United Nations system.
٤ - وقد تحولت مبادرة ذوي الخوذ البيض هذه، في الفترة القصيرة نسبيا التي مضت منذ الاضطلاع بها، إلى آلية هامة تتسم بفعالية التكلفة فيما يتعلق بدعم القدرة التشغيلية لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

11. The viability of the White Helmets initiative and the sustainability of its achievements to date are ultimately predicated on the availability of additional funds for future activities.
١١ - ويتوقف بقاء مبادرة ذوي الخوذ البيض واستدامة منجزاتها حتى اﻵن، في نهاية المطاف، على مدى توفر أموال إضافية من أجل التدخلات المستقبلية.

The “White Helmets” initiative, which was launched by the President of Argentina in 1993 and became operational in 1995, aims at making volunteer teams available on a standby basis through national volunteer corps.
