In response to General Assembly resolution 57/270 B, which, inter alia, requested functional commissions to examine their methods of work in order to better pursue the implementation of the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits, several functional commissions have reviewed their working methods in recent years.
واستجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة 57/270 باء، الذي كان مما جاء فيه أن طلب إلى اللجان الفنية، أن تدرس أساليب عملها لكي يتسنى لها تحسين متابعتها لتنفيذ نتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية ومؤتمرات القمة التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة، أجرت عدة لجان فنية مراجعة لطرائق عملها في السنوات الأخيرة.

The present report responds to General Assembly resolution 57/270 B, in which the Assembly requested each functional commission to examine its methods of work in order to better pursue implementation of the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits on the basis of a report with recommendations to be submitted by the Secretary-General to each functional commission.
أُعد هذا التقرير استجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة 57/270 باء، الذي طلبت فيه الجمعية إلى كل لجنة من اللجان الفنية أن تدرس أساليب عملها لكي يتسنى لها تحسين متابعتها لتنفيذ نتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية ومؤتمرات القمة التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة، وذلك بالاستناد إلى تقرير يتضمن توصيات يتولى الأمين العام تقديمها إلى كل لجنة من اللجان الفنية.
