The United Nations Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Populations was established by the General Assembly in resolution 40/131 of 13 December 1985 to assist representatives of indigenous communities and organizations to participate in the deliberations of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights by providing them with financial assistance.
16 - أنشأت الجمعية العامة صندوق الأمم المتحدة للتبرعات لصالح السكان الأصليين بموجب القرار 40/131، المؤرخ 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1985، لمساعدة ممثلي مجتمعات السكان الأصليين ومنظماتهم على المشاركة في مداولات الفريق العامل المعني بالسكان الأصليين التابع للجنة الفرعية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان، وذلك من خلال تقديم المساعدة المالية إليهم.
