23. The efforts of the Programme made through its advisory service to the Government of the Republic of Korea resulted in the establishment of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council.
٢٣ - وقد أسفرت الجهود التي بذلها البرنامج من خلال تقديم خدماته الاستشارية إلى حكومة جمهورية كوريا عن إنشاء مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

(a) Assistance in the growth and operation of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council;
)أ( المساعدة على نمو وتشغيل مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادىء ؛

(b) Assistance to the Government of the Republic of Korea in the growth and operation of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council;

The Committee also noted the establishment of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC) to serve as a regional forum to promote exchanges of information and cooperation in the field of satellite communications and broadcasting and agreed that the establishment of that organization would facilitate the expansion of regional cooperation.
كما نوهت اللجنة بإنشاء مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ لكي يكون بمثابة منتدى إقليمي للترويج لتبادل المعلومات والتعاون في مجال الاتصالات والبث اللاسلكي بواسطة السواتل، واتفقت على أن إنشاء تلك المنظمة سييسر التوسع في التعاون اﻹقليمي.

23. The Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC), established and inaugurated in Seoul in October 1994 with the support of the Programme, continues to make much progress within the region.
٣٢ - ما زال مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادىء ، الذي أنشىء ودشن في سيول في تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٤٩٩١ ، يحرز تقدما كبيرا في المنطقة بدعم من البرنامج .

(c) To the Government of the Republic of Korea, in the growth and operation of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (see para. 23 below);

23. The efforts of the Programme made through its advisory service to the Government of the Republic of Korea resulted in the rapid growth and operation of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC), which aims at promoting cooperation and harmonization in the development and utilization of satellite communications in the region.
٢٣ - وبفضل الجهود التي بذلها البرنامج عن طريق تقديم الخدمة الاستشارية إلى حكومة جمهورية كوريا تسارع النمو وجرت حركة العمل في مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، الذي يستهدف تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق في مجال تطوير الاتصالات الساتلية في المنطقة واستغلالها.

The Office for Outer Space Affairs, within the framework of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications, will continue to support the work of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council, which was established in 1994 with the assistance of the Programme and has now expanded to 86 members from 28 countries.
197- في اطار برنامج الأمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية، سيواصل مكتب شؤون الفضاء الخارجي دعم عمل مجلس الاتصالات الساتلية لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ الذي أنشئ في عام 1994 بمساعدة من البرنامج وتوسعت عضويته لتصبح الآن 86 عضوا من 28 بلدا.

(b) Providing assistance to the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communication Council (APSCC) to support its growth and operation, in particular its preparations for the APSCC 2000 Conference and Exhibition, entitled " New Vision for Satellite Communications in the 21st Century " ;
