لقد اجتمعت مجموعة الدول المهتمة بالأمر بشكل منتظم وأصبحت، بالتعاون مع إدارة شؤون نزع السلاح، مركزا لتجميع الجهود حيث يمكن للوفود أن تجتمع لتبادل المعلومات بشأن أنشطتها المختلفة في مجال لنزع السلاح العملي لصالح الآخرين، وبغية التنسيق الأفضل لأنشطتها.
