19. The Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments on 29 July 1994 conveying the Special Rapporteur's request for information.
١٩ - وفي ٢٩ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤ أرسل اﻷمين العام مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يبلغها فيها بطلب المقرر الخاص الحصول على معلومات.

28. In the Spring of 1998, the Special Rapporteur sent a note verbale to Governments, requesting them to provide her with information about initiatives taken with regard to violence against women in the family.
28- في ربيع عام 1998، وجهت المقررة الخاصة مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات طالبة منها تزويدها بمعلومات عن المبادرات المتخذة فيما يتعلق بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة داخل الأسرة.

3. Pursuant to this resolution, the Secretary-General, on 6 January 1998, addressed a note verbale to Governments, relevant United Nations agencies, in particular the World Health Organization, as well as the International Criminal Police Organization and all relevant non-governmental organizations for information on the issue.
٣- وعملاً بهذا القرار وجﱠه اﻷمين العام، في ٦ كانون الثاني/يناير ٨٩٩١، مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وبالذات منظمة الصحة العالمية والمنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية وكافة المنظمات غير الحكومية ذات الصلة، طالباً منها معلومات حول هذه المسألة.

3. On 30 September 2002, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), on behalf of the Secretary-General, sent a note verbale to Governments inviting them to provide information they considered relevant for the review.
3- وفي 30 أيلول/سبتمبر 2002، أرسلت المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان باسم الأمين العام، مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات دعتها فيها إلى تقديم أي معلومات ترى أن لها صلة بموضوع الاستعراض.

In response to Economic and Social Council resolution 2002/19, the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments requesting relevant information on the issues raised in the resolution.
7- واستجابة لقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2002/19، أرسل الأمين العام مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يدعوها فيها لتقديم المعلومات المتصلة بالمسائل التي أثارها القرار.

2. The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights sent a note verbale to Governments on 4 November 2002 and a letter to non-governmental organizations acting in the indigenous area on 5 November 2002 and invited them to provide information before 15 December 2002.
2- وقد أرسل مكتب المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات بتاريخ 4 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2002، ورسالة إلى المنظمات غير الحكومية العاملة في مجال السكان الأصليين بتاريخ 5 تشرين ـ

6. Pursuant to resolution 56/170, on 30 April 2002, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights transmitted a note verbale to Governments, on behalf of the Secretary-General, requesting information on their implementation of the resolution.
6 - وعملا بالقرار 56/170، أحالت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، في 30 نيسان/أبريل 2002، مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات بالنيابة عن الأمين العام، تطلب فيها معلومات عن تنفيذها للقرار.

7. On 7 December 2000, the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments and to relevant organizations inviting them to provide their views and observations pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2001/14.
7- أرسل الأمين العام في 7 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات والمنظمات ذات الصلة يدعوها لتقديم آرائها وملاحظاتها، بمقتضى قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2001/14.

3. On 31 May 1996, the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments inviting them to provide information on the above-mentioned issues.
٣ - وفي ٣١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٦، أرسل اﻷمين العام مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات دعاها فيها إلى تقديم معلومات عن المسائل المذكورة أعلاه.

9. In accordance with the request contained in resolution 50/157, the Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights sent a note verbale to Governments, inviting them to provide any information they considered relevant for inclusion in the review.
٩ - ووفقا للطلب الوارد في القرار ٥٠/١٥٧، أرسل اﻷمين العام المساعد لشؤون حقوق اﻹنسان مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يدعوها فيها لتقديم أية معلومات تعتبرها هامة، وذلك ﻹدراجها في الاستعراض.

2. In accordance with that request, the Secretary-General addressed a note verbale to Governments and a letter to specialized agencies and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations on 26 June 1996 asking them for their comments and observations.
٢- وبناء على ذلك الطلب، وجه اﻷمين العام مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات ورسالة إلى وكالات متخصصة ومنظمات حكومية دولية ومنظمات غير حكومية في ٦٢ حزيران/يونيه ٦٩٩١ طالباً إليها تقديم تعليقاتها وملاحظاتها.

2. Pursuant to that request, on 16 September 2004 the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments inviting them to submit information to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on their efforts to implement the resolution.
2- وعملاً بهذا المطلب، أرسل الأمين العام في 16 أيلول/ سبتمبر 2004 مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يدعوها فيها إلى تقديم معلومات إلى مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة بشأن جهود الحكومات الرامية إلى تنفيذ القرار.

Accordingly, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), on 24 May 2005, transmitted a note verbale to Governments, on behalf of the Secretary-General, requesting information for inclusion in the present report.

On 28 April 1995, the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments transmitting a request for any relevant documents and information, in particular on the effects of the implementation of the Plan of Action for the Elimination of Harmful Traditional Practices affecting the Health of Women and Children, to assist the Special Rapporteur in her work.
٤- وفي ٨٢ نيسان/أبريل ٥٩٩١، أرسل اﻷمين العام مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يحيل فيها طلباً بإرسال أي وثائق أو معلومات ذات صلة، على اﻷخص، بآثار تنفيذ خطة العمل للقضاء على الممارسات التقليدية الضارة التي تؤثر في صحة النساء واﻷطفال، لمساعدة المقررة الخاصة في عملها.

4. In order to obtain updated information in this regard, the Secretary—General, on 5 August 1997, sent a note verbale to Governments and a letter to United Nations bodies, specialized agencies, and intergovernmental and non—governmental organizations.
٤- وسعياً إلى الحصول على معلومات مستكملة في هذا الشأن، قام اﻷمين العام، في ٥ آب/أغسطس ٧٩٩١، بتوجيه مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات ورسالة إلى هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية.

13. In response to the Secretary-General's request for Governments to report on the implementation of General Assembly resolution 54/166 entitled " Protection of migrants " , last year the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights also transmitted a note verbale to Governments requesting them to report on the status of implementation of the resolution.
13 - واستجابة لطلب الأمين العام الموجه إلى الحكومات لتقديم بيانات بشأن تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة 54/166 المعنون " حماية المهاجرين " ، أحالت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان في السنة الماضية مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات تطلب إليها تقديم تقارير بشأن حالة تنفيذ القرار.

Pursuant to that request, on 12 November 2007 the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments inviting them to submit information to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime by 15 December 2007 on their efforts to implement the resolution.
2- وعملا بذلك الطلب، بعث الأمين العام في 12 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 مذكرة شفوية إلى الحكومات يدعوها فيها إلى تقديم معلومات إلى مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، في موعد أقصاه 15 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007، عن جهودها الرامية إلى تنفيذ القرار.

Pursuant to that request, on 28 August 2008 the Secretary-General sent a note verbale to Governments, inviting them to submit information to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on their efforts to implement the resolution.
