10. The Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law and the Foreign Exchange Control Order.

1. The Foreign Exchange Control Order was amended so that transactions by residents concerning sale and purchase of goods, involving movement of goods between foreign countries in which the destination of petroleum or petroleum products is Haiti, shall be subject to licence of the Government.
١ - تم تعديل قرار مراقبة النقد اﻷجنبي بحيث تكون المعاملات التي يعقدها المقيمون والمتعلقة ببيع أو شراء السلع، وتنطوي على نقل السلع بين البلدان اﻷجنبية وتكون فيها الوجهة النهائية للنفط أو المنتجات النفطية هي هايتي، خاضعة لترخيص من الحكومة.

The prevention of the sale or supply of petroleum or petroleum products or arms and related material, as well as that of activities to promote such sale or supply, as required by the Security Council resolution, shall be implemented by the provisions concerned of the Foreign Export Control Order and Foreign Exchange Control Order mentioned above.

The Minister of Finance has in terms of the Regulations appointed the Exchange Control Department of the South African Reserve Bank to carry out certain functions assigned to the Treasury, and as such the Department is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Exchange Control.
