7. The United Nations does not maintain a systematic monitoring and reporting mechanism on the issue of Palestinian women giving birth at Israeli checkpoints.

In its resolution 2005/7, the Commission on Human Rights requested the High Commissioner to report on the issue of Palestinian pregnant women giving birth at Israeli checkpoints owing to denial of access by Israel to hospitals.

In its resolution 2005/7 of 14 April 2005, the Commission on Human Rights requested the High Commissioner to report on " the issue of Palestinian pregnant women giving birth at Israeli checkpoints owing to denial of access by Israel to hospitals " .

29. Pursuant to Council decision 2/102 and Commission resolution 2005/7, the Council will consider the report of the High Commissioner on the issue of Palestinian pregnant women giving birth at Israeli checkpoints (A/HRC/13/68) (see also paragraph 86 below).
29- عملاً بمقرر المجلس 2/102 وبقرار اللجنة 2005/7، سيُعرض على المجلس تقرير المفوضة السامية بشأن مسألة الفلسطينيات الحوامل اللواتي يلدن عند نقاط التفتيش الإسرائيلية (A/HRC/13/68) (انظر أيضاً الفقرة 86 أدناه).

4. Requests the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to address the issue of Palestinian pregnant women giving birth at Israeli checkpoints owing to denial of access by Israel to hospitals, with a view to ending this inhumane Israeli practice, and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session and the Commission at its sixtysecond session;
