4. The mandate of the Force is to confirm the withdrawal of Israeli forces, to restore international peace and security and to assist the Government of Lebanon in ensuring the return of its effective authority in the area of operations.
٤ - تتمثل ولاية القوة في التأكد من انسحاب القوات اﻹسرائيلية، وفي إعادة السلم واﻷمن الدوليين، وفي مساعدة حكومة لبنان في كفالة إعادة بسط سلطتها الفعلية في منطقة العمليات.

It welcomes the resolve of the international community to assist the Government of Lebanon with humanitarian and financial assistance to enable it to deal with the worsening humanitarian disaster, rehabilitation of victims, return of displaced persons and restoration of essential infrastructure.
وتُعرب اللجنة عن ترحيبها بتصميم المجتمع الدولي على مساعدة حكومة لبنان بتقديم المساعدة الإنسانية والمالية بغرض تمكينها من مواجهة الكارثة الإنسانية المتدهورة، وإعادة تأهيل الضحايا، وإعادة المشردين، وإعادة الهياكل الرئيسية الضرورية إلى حالتها.

88. In line with the two-year UNDCP multisectoral drug control project signed in March 1993, UNDCP continued to assist the Government of Lebanon in building an institutional framework for drug control by providing legal advice.
٨٨ - وبالتوافق مع برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة لمكافحة المخدرات المتعدد القطاعات، ومدته سنتان، والموقع عليه في آذار/مارس ١٩٩٣، واصل البرنامج مساعدة حكومة لبنان على بناء إطار مؤسسي لمراقبة المخدرات من خلال تقديم المشورة القانونية.

14. Calls upon the Government of Lebanon to secure its borders and other entry points to prevent the entry in Lebanon without its consent of arms or related materiel and requests UNIFIL as authorized in paragraph 11 to assist the Government of Lebanon at its request;
14 - يطالب حكومة لبنان بتأمين حدوده وغيرها من نقاط الدخول لمنع دخول الأسلحة أو ما يتصل بها من عتاد إلى لبنان دون موافقتها ويطلب إلى قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان، وفق ما أذنت به الفقرة 11، مساعدة حكومة لبنان لدى طلبها ذلك؛

4. In accordance with Security Council resolutions 425 (1978) and 426 (1978) of 19 March 1978, the mandate of the Force consists of three parts: (a) to confirm the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon; (b) to restore international peace and security; and (c) to assist the Government of Lebanon in ensuring the return of its effective authority in the area.
4 - وفقا لقراري مجلس الأمن 425 (1978) و 426 (1978) المؤرخين 19 آذار/ مارس 1978، تتألف ولاية القوة من ثلاثة أجزاء: (أ) التأكد من انسحاب القوات الإسرائيلية من جنوب لبنان؛ (ب) إعادة إحلال السلام والأمن الدوليين؛ (ج) مساعدة حكومة لبنان على كفالة إعادة بسط سلطتها الفعلية في المنطقة.

The members of the Council reiterated their unequivocal condemnation of any attempt to destabilize Lebanon and recalled their determination to continue to assist the Government of Lebanon in the pursuit of the truth and in holding accountable all those involved in that terrorist attack, as well as in other terrorist attacks and assassinations committed in Lebanon since October 2004.
وأكد أعضاء المجلس مجددا استنكارهم التام لأي محاولة لزعزعة استقرار لبنان مذكِّرين بإصرارهم على الاستمرار في مساعدة حكومة لبنان في السعي إلى معرفة الحقيقة وفي تحميل المسؤولية لكل من شاركوا في ذلك الهجوم الإرهابي، وفي غيره من الهجمات الإرهابية وأعمال الاغتيال التي ارتكبت في لبنان منذ تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2004.
