The Committee further recommended that the General Assembly request the Secretary-General to invite the Registrar of the International Court of Justice to apply objectives, expected accomplishments and indicators of achievement to the activities of the International Court of Justice.
وأوصت اللجنة كذلك بأن تطلب الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام أن يدعو مسجل محكمة العدل الدولية لأن يطبق الأهداف والإنجازات المتوقعة ومؤشرات الإنجاز على أنشطة محكمة العدل الدولية.

36. In the 2001 review of the conditions of service, the Registrar of the International Court of Justice provided the Secretariat with a table listing pensions in payment and observed that pensions were disproportionate for retired members of the Court and/or surviving spouses.
36 - وفي الاستعراض الذي أجري عام 2001 لشروط الخدمة، قدم مسجل محكمة العدل الدولية إلى الأمانة العامة جدولا بالمعاشات التقاعدية الجاري دفعها، ولاحظ أن هذه المعاشات غير متناسبة بالنسبة لأعضاء المحكمة المتقاعدين و/أو أزواجهم الباقين على قيد الحياة.

1. By a letter dated 24 February 1995, the Deputy Registrar of the International Court of Justice informed the Secretary-General of the death of Judge Roberto Ago (Italy) on that date and of the occurrence of a vacancy in the Court as a result of his death.

1. This is with reference to a memorandum from Ms. Brzák-Metzler dated 15 May 2007 addressed to Mr. Johnson of this Office, enclosing a copy of a letter dated 19 April 2007 from the Registrar of the International Court of Justice, Philippe Couvreur, addressed to Ms. Brzák-Metzler.

8. Concerning pensions in payment, the Registrar of the International Court of Justice had asked for steps to be taken to remedy the wide disparity between pensions set prior to 1990 and pensions under the current regime and the Registry and President of ICTY had expressed concern about the disparity between the pension benefits of ICTY and ICJ judges.

23. In 2001, the Registrar of the International Court of Justice expressed concern over the disproportionate nature of pensions for retired members of the Court and/or their surviving spouses and suggested that steps could be taken to remedy the disparity in payments by an increase, to the extent possible, in pension payments to its former members.
23 - وفي عام 2001، أعرب مسجل محكمة العدل الدولية عن قلقه بشأن عدم تناسب المعاشات التقاعدية بالنسبة لأعضاء محكمة العدل الدولية المتقاعدين و/أو أزواجهم الباقين على قيد الحياة، واقترح إمكانية اتخاذ خطوات لتصحيح هذا التفاوت، عن طريق إدخال زيادة، بالقدر الممكن، على مدفوعات المعاشات التقاعدية التي يتقاضاها أعضاؤها السابقون.

12. In 2006, the Registrar of the International Court of Justice pointed out that article 2, paragraph 2, of the travel and subsistence regulations for the members of the Court, approved by the General Assembly in its resolution 37/240, states that the daily subsistence allowance shall be paid at rates equivalent to the standard subsistence allowance applied to officials of the United Nations Secretariat, plus 40 per cent.
12 - وفي عام 2006، أوضح مسجل محكمة العدل الدولية أن الفقرة 2 من المادة 2 من أنظمة السفر والإقامة المتعلقة بأعضاء المحكمة التي وافقت عليها الجمعية العامة في قرارها 37/240 تنص على أن بدل الإقامة اليومي يُدفع بمعدلات تعادل المعدلات القياسية لبدل الإقامة المطبقة على موظفي الأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة، مضافة إليها نسبة 40 في المائة.
