To promote and intensify international cooperation, especially with regard to the needs of developing countries, a State carrying out remote sensing of the Earth from space shall, upon request, enter into consultations with a State whose territory is sensed in order to make available opportunities for participation and enhance the mutual benefits to be derived therefrom.
تعزيزا وتكثيفا للتعاون الدولي، لا سيما فيما يتعلق باحتياجات البلدان النامية، تدخل الدول التي تباشر استشعار الأرض عن بعد من الفضاء الخارجي في مشاورات مع الدولة التي يستشعر إقليمها، بناء على طلبها، لإتاحة فرص للمشاركة وزيادة الفوائد المتبادلة المجنية من ذلك.

6. After such proceedings have been completed with regard to an inquiry made in accordance with paragraph 2, the Committee may, after consultations with the State Party concerned, decide to include a summary account of the results of the proceedings in its annual report.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 5, of the Convention, the Committee, after holding consultations with the State party concerned decided, at its twenty-eighth session, to include in its annual report to the General Assembly in 2002 the following summary of the results of the inquiry on Sri Lanka.

The Protocol, also known as the MERCOSUR democratic clause, provided that functioning democratic institutions constituted an essential precondition for the development of the integration process among the Parties, and that a breakdown in the democratic order in a State Party would trigger a process of consultations with the State concerned.

If the [Technical Secretariat] [Organization] considers that there are insufficient points of entry for the timely conduct of inspections or that changes to the points of entry proposed by a State Party would hamper such timely conduct of inspections, it shall enter into consultations with the State Party concerned to resolve the problem.
٦٦- إذا ما رأت ]اﻷمانة الفنية[ ]المنظمة[ أن عدد نقاط الدخول غير كاف للقيام بعمليات التفتيش في الوقت المناسب، أو أن ما تقترحه دولة ما من الدول اﻷطراف من تغييرات في نقاط الدخول سيعوق القيام بعمليات التفتيش هذه في الوقت المناسب، فإن عليها أن تدخل في مشاورات مع الدولة الطرف المعنية بغية حل هذه المشكلة.

69.
