15. Requests the working group on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts to meet for a period of two weeks, or less if possible, prior to the fifty-third session of the Commission, with a view to finalizing the draft optional protocol;
٥١- تطلب إلى الفريق العامل المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ويتعلق باشتراك اﻷطفال في المنازعات المسلحة إلى الاجتماع لفترة أسبوعين أو أقل إذا أمكن، قبل دورة اللجنة الثالثة والخمسين، بغية إضفاء الصبغة النهائية على مشروع البروتوكول الاختياري؛

(a) To the working group on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts to meet for a period of two weeks, or less if possible, prior to the fifty-third session of the Commission, with a view to finalizing the draft optional protocol;
)أ( الفريق العامل المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ويتعلق باشتراك اﻷطفال في المنازعات المسلحة أن يجتمع لفترة أسبوعين أو أقل إذا أمكن، قبل دورة اللجنة الثالثة والخمسين، بغية إضفاء الصبغة النهائية على مشروع البروتوكول الاختياري؛

1. Welcomes the decision of the Commission on Human Rights to establish an open-ended working group to elaborate as a matter of priority a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child 1/ and to use as a basis for its discussions the preliminary draft submitted by the Committee on the Rights of the Child;
١- ترحب بقرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان بإنشاء فريق عامل مفتوح العضوية ليضع على سبيل اﻷولوية مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل)١( وبأن يستند الفريق العامل في مناقشاته إلى المشروع اﻷولي الذي قدمته لجنة حقوق الطفل؛

(a) To the working group on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts to meet for a period of two weeks, or less if possible, prior to the fifty-third session of the Commission, with a view to finalizing the draft optional protocol;
)أ( الفريق العامل المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ويتعلق باشتراك اﻷطفال في الصراعات المسلحة أن يجتمع لمدة أسبوعين، أو أقل إذا أمكن، قبل دورة اللجنة الثالثة والخمسين، بغية إضفاء الصبغة النهائية على مشروع البروتوكول الاختياري؛

16. Encourages the Working Group on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography to continue its work in elaborating a draft optional protocol, and calls upon the Working Group to outline a framework for international cooperation to bring to an end all practices relating to the sexual exploitation of children, including child sex tourism;
٦١- تشجع الفريق العامل المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ويتعلق ببيع اﻷطفال وبغاء اﻷطفال والتصوير اﻹباحي لﻷطفال، على مواصلة أعماله المتعلقة بصياغة مشروع بروتوكول اختياري، وتطلب إلى الفريق العامل أن يضع إطاراً عاماً للتعاون الدولي على إنهاء جميع الممارسات المتعلقة بالاستغلال الجنسي لﻷطفال، بما في ذلك السياحة لغرض ممارسة الجنس مع اﻷطفال؛

The Committee also met, on 6 October 1998, with Ms. Catherine von Heidenstam, the newly appointed Chairperson—Rapporteur of the working group of the Commission on Human Rights, set up pursuant to Commission resolution 1994/91 to examine the question of a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts.
٢٠٢- واجتمعت اللجنـة أيضـاً، فـي ٦ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٨٩٩١، مـع السيدة كاثرين فون هايدنستام، الرئيسة - المقـررة المعينـة مجـدداً للفريـق العامـل للجنـة حقوق اﻹنسان الذي أنشئ عملاً بقرار اللجنة ٤٩٩١/١٩ لبحث مسألة وضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن اشتراك اﻷطفال في المنازعات المسلحة.

The Commission, in its resolution 1994/91, recommended that the Economic and Social Council authorize an openended working group of the Commission on Human Rights to meet for a period of two weeks prior to the fiftyfirst session of the Commission in order to elaborate, as a matter of priority, a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts.
105- وأوصت اللجنة المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في قرارها 1994/91، بأن يأذن لفريق عامل مفتوح العضوية تابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان بأن يجتمع لمدة أسبوعين قبل انعقاد دورتها الحادية والخمسين من أجل القيام، على سبيل الأولوية، بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن الزج بالأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة.

The Commission, in its resolution 1994/91, recommended that the Economic and Social Council authorize an open-ended working group of the Commission on Human Rights to meet for a period of two weeks prior to the fifty-first session of the Commission in order to elaborate, as a matter of priority, a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflicts.
80- وأوصت اللجنة المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في قرارها 1994/91، بأن يأذن لفريق عامل مفتوح العضوية تابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان بأن يجتمع لمدة أسبوعين قبل انعقاد دورتها الحادية والخمسين من أجل القيام، على سبيل الأولوية، بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن الزج بالأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة.

1. With regard to the Report of the Working Group on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on involvement of children in armed conflicts (E/CN.4/1998/102), the New Zealand Government considers that the “Chairman's perception” text as annexed to that report represents a near consensus of the working group and should form the basis of further work by the group to finalize a draft optional protocol.
١- فيما يتعلق بتقرير الفريق العامل المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري يلحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل ويتعلق باشتراك اﻷطفال في المنازعات المسلحة )E/CN.4/1998/102(، تعتبر حكومة نيوزيلندا أن نص " تصور الرئيس " كما أرفق بهذا التقرير يمثل شبه توافق في آراء الفريق العامل وأنه ينبغي أن يشكل أساس اﻷعمال اﻷخرى التي سيضطلع بها الفريق لوضع الصيغة النهائية لمشروع بروتوكول اختياري.
