2. Status of the outer space treaties

The Netherlands is one of seven States that are parties to all five outer space treaties and it is constantly making efforts to further the development of international space law.
وهولندا هي واحدة من سبع دول أطراف في كل معاهدات الفضاء الخارجي الخمس وهي تسعى كبلد الى زيادة تطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي .

Therefore, because of increasing national and commercial interests, the Netherlands feels that items such as the review of the outer space treaties and also new items like space debris deserve greater emphasis.
لذلك ، ونظرا لتزايد الاهتمامات الوطنية والتجارية ، ترى هولندا أن هنالك بنودا كالبند المتعلق باستعراض معاهدات الفضاء الخارجي تستحق مزيدا من التركيز .

This is in line with a strategy contained in the medium-term plan for the period 2002-2005 to assist developing countries in the development of national space legislation and ratification of existing outer space treaties.
ويتماشى ذلك مع استراتيجية واردة في الخطة المتوسطة الأجل للفترة 2002-2005 من أجل مساعدة البلدان النامية في وضع تشريعات وطنية متعلقة بالفضاء والتصديق على معاهدات الفضاء الخارجي القائمة.

9. The Working Group noted with satisfaction the statements made by a number of delegations about the positive impact of the letter from the Secretary-General encouraging participation in the outer space treaties, which, in their view, had stimulated a thorough consideration of participation in the United Nations treaties on outer space.
